What And How About Polishing Eyeglasses
Polish your eyeglasses since it has a lot of light scratches, but I am pretty sure people seldom do this, here some specific tips for doing it are introduced.
Firstly, make sure your eyeglasses’s surface is not overcoated with any plastic, and remember to polish without changing the prescription.
Secondly, not to try airborne grit, but to spray pledge furniture wax, or wax that contains cerium oxide. It would help on scratched eyeglasses. I tried it and it did help a lot. Try to spray it on and then polish them with a soft cloth.
Thirdly, It should be done by hand and will take hours of polishing in your spare time, just like making a mirror or lens. But it does work and won’t change the prescription enough to notice at all. Finally, if you can not be sure which stuff is best, just try the toothpaste idea, for it may be suitable for very tiny scratches in the eyeglasses.
Best luck!
